This KMR L-02 Umbra OR pistol is a lightweight and easily operable firearm, which is suited for hobbyists and sport shooters alike. The frame is CNC machined from one piece of duraluminium, which is a harder and stronger form of aluminium. It is also exceptionally light. This results in a pistol with a weight that feels solid, but also a weight that won’t hinder your efforts. The slide is made of steel and it is completely optics-ready. There’s a plate on top of the slide, which can easily be removed and replaced with a red dot, which will allow you to focus purely on your target.

The KMR L-02 Umbra OR is compatible with a red dot, but aiming will not be an issue even without a red dot. This pistol comes equipped with a height-adjustable rear sight and a front sight with a brightly illuminated red optic fibre. Using the right optics to aim accurately will allow you to shoot with extreme accuracy. The barrel has a barrel stabilization system. This means the barrel is less susceptible to vibrations, allowing you to shoot with greater accuracy and allowing you to shoot further. The barrel is fluted, meaning it will cool down faster and it weighs less. It has M13.5×1 CCW external thread (SR) that you can easily mount a suppressor onto.

The duraluminium frame and the steel slide have a Cerakote ceramic coating that prevents wear and rust. Because of this, the KMR L-02 Umbra OR pistol will keep performing up to standards even after using it for a long time. This pistol has a crisply tuned single-action/double-action trigger system with a quick reset. The trigger has a serrated surface that provides extra grip. There are black Diamondcut duraluminium grip panels on the grip that have a rough texture. That same texture is also on the front and the back of the grip and it provides a sturdier hold.

The KMR L-02 Umbra OR pistol feels great to hold in your hand and it has a rounded indentation just below the beavertail. You can easily reach and operate the -slightly extended- magazine pin. Both the slide lock and the ambidextrous safety pin are slightly recessed into the frame, but they’re still perfectly operable. The magazine has a capacity of sixteen cartridges.
